2) Run 10 miles/week: I didn't even get to yoga this week (curse you, daylight savings!!!)
3) 30 pushups continuously: I should do a spot test soon and just see how many I can do now.
4) Do a pullup: I thought about trying a pullup. Does that count?
5) Update Wardrobe to be grownup :): I went to REI with husband and got a bright green raincoat for our trip to rainy Ireland. It screams "I am a hipster youth and I love North Face even though I have never climbed a mountain." I'm not sure that makes me grownup, but it's the only new thing I've bought lately. Heh.
All in all just a normal, regular week.

32K words! That's awesome. Also, taking a raincoat to rainy Ireland sounds responsible, so by default it qualifies.
Hey, pullups are at least 80% muscle memory imo. So just start practicing the different motions (i.e. pulling yourself into position and then holding said position). You can doooo it!
32K is nothing to sneeze at.
Are you aiming for hipster grownup, or just run-of-the-mill grownup? (My wardrobe doesn't currently fit either category, but I don't even know what I'd shoot for if I had the energy to do a makeover.)
I didn't realise you were going with the Chinese New Year as your starting point (if it isn't, just ignore me). And congrats on the 32k. I know how hard it is to write that. I wrote mine over about 3 months of very little sleep.
If it makes you feel any better the last piece of clothing I purchased was a t-shirt with Chewbacca on it.
MXX: 32K and counting!! I'm so stuck on my related work chapter....how to break it down and organize, and how much detail to go into, how many adjacent fields to discuss...AAAH.
Hermie: Can you do a pullup? If so you are so badass!!! Actually, you are badass either way.
Nicky: I think I am going for hipster grown-up? I don't really know. All I know is the other day I put on a cardigan and looked like a young mom with a rich husband and all I wanted to do was look classy as I picked up my kindergarten-er from private school, and I was mortified. Not my look!!
Jaz: Nothing wrong with some Chewy love :).
The raincoat is definitely a smart move ;) Although if you could find some sunshine and convince it to sit in your suitcase, that'd be great :)
And 32K words is awesome!! You are well on your way to meeting your deadline. Go you.
Go to the Gap of Dunloe its pretty - very nice walk!
I just spent the last few days wearing ski gear at all times, and I miss it. I'm so not ready to dress like (or even be) a grownup, and I'm 32...
