Year of the Ox - Week #1

1) Write Thesis by June 1: I finished my first draft of Chapter 1!!! And I've begun Chapter 2, which will be....um....fun.

2) Run 10 miles/week: Pathetic. I didn't do anything.

3) 30 pushups continuously: Ditto. Too consumed with Ch. 1, and then the Super Bowl.

4) Do a pullup: Can I just call this a practice week?

5) Update Wardrobe to be grownup :): I'm not made of money, so nothing here. This will be sporadic anyway.

Basically, I sucked total balls last week. BAAAAAD PHIZZLE.

It's now officially been declared Practice Week 1. Now we have Real Week 1 coming up. OMG, RW1 has already started! So I'd better get my own lists out, too!

But hey, the S-Bowl was too good to miss this year. :)

Hey, if you're going to follow my model then you should follow it all the way. That includes no negativity in the update posts. :)

When I started the P & P list I vowed that the updates were things I made progress on and not about beating myself up for the things I didn't get to. It's a hard habit to break but it makes a difference!!

Congrats on finishing up chapter 1!

so 2-5 didn't happen, but you got your first chapter written. As you may have noticed, I am learning to accept that none of us are superwoman. Sometimes you can only complete one goal a week and you must be happy with that. No point beating yourself up over the others. Wasted energy it would seem.

But go you on the chapter!
